We know how sustainability is increasingly important
Running Scent Arabia gives us lots of opportunities to improve our impact environmentally, socially and economically in our region. We want to make the event more responsible and play a role in helping the market improve its own sustainability by connecting people with the networks and knowledge they want to help solve the big challenges in the fragrance and perfume industry.
Our three aims
1. Help our markets through inspiring sustainable development
We focus on:
- Using our content to support the sustainability of the market the event serves.
- Inspiring our suppliers, exhibitors and other stakeholders to deliver a sustainable event.
- A platform for new brands and designers to showcase their work to a large audience.
2. Run the event in an increasingly environmentally responsible manner
We focus on:
- Creating less waste.
- Reusing the event carpet.
- Utilising biodegarable lanyards.
- Using LED lighting through the show.
- Reducing paper waste by using the mobile app and conducting surveys online.
- Considering sustainability credentials of the items sourced for the event.
3. Run the event in a socially responsible manner
We focus on:
- Doing business safely and ethically.
- Considering wellbeing and accessibility.
- Creating a positive impact on our host cities.
- Measuring our impacts.
How can you be more sustainable?
We are working with exhibitors, event partners and attendees to make Scent Arabia 2023 a sustainable event. As part of this plan, we have developed suggestions and tips for building a sustainable fragrance event.
